Location was ideal for exploring Florence. Helpful staff. Excellent complimentary breakfast.
No elevator to the street level so either you ring a porter or you carry bags up a flight of stairs. Once you are up the first flight of stairs, there is an elevator.

We were incredibly impressed with this hotel. The location is perfect, situated right in the heart of a famous shopping area, allowing us to easily explore the city and even giving us an extra hour of time to enjoy our trip. The entrance to the hotel is in a special spot, with luxury brand Gucci right next door. Plus, it's only a short walk to the Cathedral, making it convenient for sightseeing.

The location was excellent, in the heart of things. Within 10-15 minutes walk we could get to museums, restaurants and other side of the River. Staff very helpful. The room was comfortable and very clean and the Continental breakfast was extremely good. We would have no hesitation recommending the hotel to friends.
The stairs could be challenging for people with any sort of mobility problems.

Breakfast service was excellent, as was the selection of buffet items Front desk managers were very friendly and helpful
Room was quite tiny (although probably not unexpectedly so) The 3 flights of steps just to get to the lift to go to the rooms is a bit of an obstacle for anyone not in the finest physical condition.

It was clean, secure, and in an excellent central location in Florence. The decor was elegant and attractive. My room was comfortable and roomy, and the staff was excellent. Would highly recommend, especially for a solo female traveller.
